We chose 401 Gourmet to cater for our wedding after my husband sampled some of his skills at his bachelor party. Mark is exceptionally accommodating and patiently consulted with us on a number of occasions as we honed in on what we wanted for our wedding menu. Everything was delicious! Following the hors d'oeuvres (including scallops in bacon and wild mushrooms in filo pastry - OMG), we opted for a traditional Italian family style menu that included artisanal bread and butter, roasted seasonal veg, homemade pastas, along with meatballs and sausages. We also ordered quiches to provide breakfast for all our guests the next morning but little did we know it would be the smoked salmon terrine that would steal the show - a must try!! We also loved that 401 Gourmet focuses on using local and seasonal produce whenever possible. It was a wonderful meal and we would definitely choose Mark again to cater for any future events :)

Young Farmer Network had a fantastic experience with 401 Gourmet catering a lunch for 75 participants in an all-day workshop last weekend! The menu was balanced and responsive to my requests (using local produce from our farming community, gluten free and vegan options). Everyone was happy and complimented the food, and more importantly, Mark was easy and pleasant to work with. Will definitely be using 401 Gourmet again in the future!

I highly recommend 401 Gourmet! Mark and his crew catered my "mile stone" birthday party at my home. Both the food and presentation were lovely and delicious! Don't miss the candied bacon or grilled watermelon and feta hordeuvres, and quinoa beet salad or scallops with Israeli couscous! A fine choice!

We had 401 Gourmet Caterers at one of our meetings in March. Mark was extremely accommodating and helped us create a menu our guests would love. He was also extremely patient with us as we had to postpone our event a day due to the weather. They knocked it out of the park with the food! The candied bacon was a huge hit! Mark was very accommodating with his menu for an event that we held for an open house. Trying to be more health conscious with the menu the food was nutritions and delicious. At what I believed to be a reasonable rate.
